Creative Director Mark Glaser and his team have created more virtual makes and models of cars than any other VFX studio for feature films, television, commercials, gaming, interactive, branded online content and mobile platforms. In one of his most notable projects, Mark deployed a proprietary driving simulator to create the astonishing stunt driving featured in the earthquake sequence for the blockbuster feature film 2012.

 

The newest iteration of Big Block’s proprietary driving simulation software simulates the physics of driving in real time 3D and allows our virtual cars to seamlessly interact with live action environments, without live action budgets.

 

Our driving simulator allows us to replicate the performance of any vehicle with complete precision and is currently being upgraded to place a simulated vehicle in a real time event. Our software is engineered to take into account the physical properties of specific vehicles such as body, engine, drive train and suspension, down to the dynamic deformations of tires on irregular surfaces.
